No Independence Day Parade Photos

Short column today:


Last Saturday. I woke up and made the decision not to photograph the Madison Connecticut Independence Day Parade for the first time since I’ve been doing it, over fifteen years.  I want to be able to watch without putting the camera up to my eye all the time.  I don’t have the last fourteen years worth of  pictures on my site.  I do have 2017 and this year’s Memorial day Parade pics here:

It will be nice to not have to carry my camera downtown and to have to race home after the parade and sit inside editing while my family and friends are out enjoying the festivities. 


So happy I decided to NOT take this on this year.

My friend, who is a professional photographer, won't go anywhere without one of his cameras. Hemay not bring the ones with all th doo-dads, but he's got a clicker, just the same.
