I wish all my readers and friends a happy holiday season. And I will return the first week in February as I'm going on my yearly holiday hiatus.

Unlike previous years when I took a break from ALL writing, this year I will be continuing to write. It won't be columns for my two blogs however. I am returning to fiction, short stories to be specific. After having a short story collection published in November, I've gotten the itch to return to writing fiction again. I just have several thoughts on what I want to tackle and have already begun working on one such story.

Writing With the two blogs that I write, I find it challenging to make time for my fiction as well. I certainly don't want to give up my blogs as they are an important part of who I am. I also don't want to stop the flow I'm feeling right now for this old new endeavor that has come back to me. So if I'm still feeling energetic about my short story work once February rolls around, you may see me taking more time away from my blogs. Have no fear, however. I'm not planning on shutting down.  I'll see everyone in February. 

In the meantime:
Focus on what's ahead of you.
