Important information
Regarding Cropping and Processing:
Landscape photos especially will lose SOME scenery when I crop the image. Because of this I
now offer "non cropped images." 8x10, 11x14 and 16x20 photos will require cropping and thus will
lose some scenery in the photo on my site. 8x12 is the alternative to 8x10 that will NOT require
cropping and won't lose any scenery.
10x15 is the alternative to 11x14. 16x24 is the alternative to 16 by 20. There are issues with
whatever option you choose. Selecting a cropped 8x10, 11x14 or 16x20 loses scenery. If you select
a non cropped image, you won't find a standard mat and frame. You'll have to decide which is more
important. I want to make you, the customer as happy as I can w/your final product and if you
choose a non-cropped image, please be aware that you won't be able to purchase a standard mat and
frame.
When purchasing products from CJP Photos, should you want to
track the status of your mail, Chris recommends using priority mail. It costs a little more but
then you will receive a tracking number from the U.S. Post Office. Just a suggestion for those
people who are anxious to know when the product will arrive.
Being PRIMARILY a landscape/nature photographer Chris has decided to
use metallic paper processing ONLY when offering his photos for sale. He's seen both types of
processing and believes metallic paper lends itself to his prints far better then standard
processing does.
With a glossy finish and unique metallic appearance, metallic prints
have more "POP" and depth. They are printed on long-lasting Kodak Professional Endura Metallic paper. This paper uses a combination of film
laminates that produces amazing, three-dimensional images on an ultra-bright background. You'll
see remarkable sharpness, brightness, and color saturation that only boosts its appeal. The
laminate layers also increase the durability and tear resistance of the final print. And
REMEMBER, when buy photos from Chris, you're purchasing JUST the print. Matting or framing is NOT
included in your purchase.
Keep this in mind when browsing through his galleries.
