Here’s a riff on the What’s in my Camera Bag question. What I take is a BIT different because there are some things that may NOT be in my bag that I take anyway. So what do I take?
My Three lenses
The Canon Speedlite 420EX Flash
My Canon EOS 40D
CF Card Reader
Things not DIRECTLY Photo related:
Depending on how far I travel, if out of state for an extended time:
My Macbook Air 13 inch.
My G-Technology G-DRIVE mobile USB Portable 2TB hard drive.
These two devices travel with me because I use them to edit and store my photos. When I travel outside Connecticut for an extended period, I use my messenger bag with a photo insert. That way I’m able to use JUST ONE bag and I can keep my Macbook and my external hard drive with all of my photography equipment together. I’d been looking for a messenger type bag so I could use it to keep my computer and photography equipment in the same bag. But when I found the insert, I opted to go that way as it was less expensive.
Now that I have reacquired my Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 is usm telephoto zoom lens, my Manfrotto tripod and Manfrotto tripod head will be another companion I travel with. Now I’m even happier I have a Giottos AA1252 Padded Tripod Case Medium 4.5x28-Inch. Having this case, makes carrying my tripod so much easier.
So what do you bring when you go on photography shoot?
