You have the option of selling your photos. These services offer many products to go along with photos. It certainly doesn’t cost you anymore to have a number of products offered on your website.
Prints are a must and various sizes from 5x7 to 16x20. Even if your best seller is 8x10 or 11x14, don’t remove any one of these sizes. The moment you do, someone will be asking if you offer that size. That happened to me awhile ago. I removed 16x20 as an option and someone asked me at an exhibit I had last November whether I had that size available at my website. You better believe the first thing I did when I arrived home was add that back.
I just sold my first canvas print and my second tote bag
That’s what lead me to write this column. Don’t remove any product you have for sale on your website. And make sure you have enough products to keep people interested. While these products account for a very limited number of sales each year, if I hadn’t placed them on my site, There’s no doubt in my mind that I may have lost these potential customers.
My advice stands:
Offer as many products as you think is necessary to attract your customer base.
In the meantime:
Focus on what's ahead of you.
