Choosing Your Paper Type

June 03, 2016  •  Leave a Comment

From 2007 until 2015 I used another photography service to host my website.  During that time period I gave my customers one choice in paper:
Kodak Endura Metallic

I understand that seeing an image of metallic paper doesn’t do justice to a REAL print.  However, it’s the best I can do.

This is ACTUALLY a photo of a metallic print from my:
Chatfield Hollow gallery

I think the paper REALLY gave my photography pop.  Metallic Paper gives your prints an almost 3D effect.  I think being that I’m primarily a landscape photographer, metallic paper lends itself nicely to my style of photography. When I migrated my site in November 2015 I made sure to continue offering metallic paper.

Were I to start doing more portrait work and photographing people more often than I do I would consider changing my paper style.  Everything I’ve read and seen about Kodak Endura Metallic Paper has said that it works best with landscape photography.  I must agree as that is my primary focus and when I use any other type of paper I’m not as enthralled.

Why not purchase something at some point from my site and you can see for yourself.  I like the effect that my paper choice offers.  My customers have time and again commented on the quality of the paper as well.

In the meantime:
Focus on what’s ahead of you.
